is a retired elementary principal from San Jose, California who moved to NW Las Vegas in 2006 with her husband. As a life long Democrat, she began her political activism in Las Vegas in 2006 with the Jack Carter campaign. Later she became a precinct captain for the Obama caucus campaign and permanent chair of the caucus for her precinct. During the Presidential campaign she was a Neighborhood Leader and after the campaign became a Community Organizer with the newly formed Organizing for America.
